Fingerprinting Program

This program is complementary and only open to Atlantic County residents. This program is for residents that need to be fingerprinted for employment, on the job related issues, etc. (This program is NOT for the person that lives in another county and works in Atlantic County.)

The Sheriff’s Office does not supply fingerprint cards, it is the responsibility of the resident to furnish his or her fingerprint cards.

Fingerprinting is limited to four print cards per person per appointment.

The applicant must provide photo ID with an address within Atlantic County.

  • Examples of acceptable Photo ID's:

  • A current New Jersey driver’s license.
  • A current identification card issued by the New Jersey Department of Motor Vehicle.
  • A current identification card issued by the Atlantic County Clerk’s Office.
  • A current United States passport.

When the technician finishes fingerprinting, the cards will be returned to the applicant so they can process the cards per instructions from the requestor.
